I think I found something interesting. Lead container covered in weird runes. I leafed through all the laboratory magazines, but not one of them has a drawing or a mention of this thing. What is she like?..My appliances cannot determine the contents of the container. Too thick lead. It shields the radiation. I would risk trying a plasma cutter. I will make an incision in the casing and find out what I encountered.In the Progress lab, that would be safer. But I do not want to share the glory with Cain and the rest. If some marker on the map is located outside of the level bounds (on the white background), it usually means that's there is some hidden route to it.
If some obstacle is blocking your way to the marker, try to kill some mobs in that area. This could remove the obstacle or open another way to the marker.

I can't find anything in that area! Also, to those looking here, you can't return after defeating the final boss (what's his name). Grr

The object is interactable only while you have the buff from the previous hidden story object. If it's expired, you can't active the object anymore. Be sure to have it on you next time.
