02/23/1717 P.B.K. I decided to plant the LJ individual in batch M. These rats have not yet been exposed to the drug. Let's see how LJ behaves in their pack. I'm sure he will take the place of leader. 02.28.317 P.B.K. The result of the experiment was unexpected. LJ is kept aloof from the pack. At first I thought he was ill, and very upset - partly because the experiment would be interrupted at the most inopportune moment, partly because I ... yes, I seem to have managed to get attached to this rat. But as soon as I approached the cage, he went out of his corner and began to poke his nose into the bars. It seems that he is simply not interested in relatives. 03/05/31 P.B.K. I released JJ out of the cage. I was wondering how he would behave. I was ready for him to dive into some kind of gap - and it will be so. But instead, he walked around my desk, busily sniffed the blueprints, and froze expectantly, watching what I would do. I swear, he is interested in my work!
