(This paper seems to have been placed under something round for a very long time.)You always seemed thrilled when talking to the adults about what you learned.I remember the excitement in your voice and the confidence in your eyes when you said you were going to enter the tower.You have no idea how glad I was when you told me you would use everything you learned to protect me.Then, you said something that I wouldn't be able to forget for the rest of my life.You said you had found something else that needed your protection.I still remember the look in your eyes when you said it.Never in my life have I had doubts about the future we'd have together. In my dreams you were always a sage, and I, your shelter. What did I do wrong? Why can't I see you anymore? Why are you stuck inside the tower? Why did your priorities change?You're gone, and I'm still here all alone like a fool. The future feels dark and empty without you. I often find myself standing in the park waiting for you. I still have the Voldisian stone, but the one who gave it to me isn't around anymore.Would you come back if you knew about the pain I'm in? Would the sages of the tower you love so dearly know?
