[Six Months Since Departure]I miss my family in Vern, but it'd be too long a journey to go back now. I feel comfortable being with Phels, enough to enjoy the occasional, comfortable silence between us. I feel lucky to meet such a great friend during what could've been a lonely voyage. Sometimes, he gives me a shoulder massage, melting away my stress. He's so good that I once told him he should quit being a sailor and go to Vern Castle, to seek employment as the Queen's masseur.
