As Argen entered, fully disguised in the animal mask, people began to cheer. He had arrived during the very heart of the Festival.He slowly walked toward the crowd. Kari called for him urgently."Argen! Come back! You need protection!"She was holding a helmet and a chest guard--and they looked substantial.Hearing Kari's voice, Argen instinctively knew he was in danger.He turned toward her, but he knew he wouldn't be able to get to her in time.The cheer of the people grew deafening."Break the piñata!"The people grabbed their weapons and charged at Argen like animals.Argen the adventurer was caught in the middle of the Festival's maddened crowd.
