It's only been a few decades since chaos struck the peaceful Anikka. When the ascetics discovered that the avarice of an ascetic named Josung led him to breach the seal and bring forth this chaos, they fought to contain the corrupt ascetic, only to be defeated. With the most capable ascetics defeated, everyone fell into despair. That was when someone else stepped forward.People thought it would be impossible for some unknown ascetic to defeat the mighty Josung. However, they were at a loss for words when this new ascetic fought toe to toe with Josung all day long.After an entire day of intense battle, Josung finally resorted to fully summoning his demonic power to attack his challenger. Just when Josung was finally certain of his victory upon seeing his challenger rot away, the ascetic managed to subdue the caustic attack by trapping his own body in a scroll. Having depleted all his power, Josung crumbled to dust. All who bore witness to the battle bowed their heads to pay their respects to the victorious ascetic.
