People say Wisdom Isle is where all the knowledge in Arkesia has been gathered. And where there is knowledge, there are books. And I'm the only librarian of Wisdom Isle. What can you conclude from all this? It means I need your help! Please stop by and help me arrange newly delivered books. I've finished sorting them out according to their categories, so all you have to do is move the books to the right shelves. I don't want to rush you, but please remember that I desire your help just as much as Wisdom Isle desires knowledge. - Librarian Minerva Rewards 300

Minerva, the librarian who's been taking care of the library alone, is looking for an assistant. Please apply if you are a fit for this job. - Search and Rescue Leader Orlando - Story Trainee (Points: 30) Minerva's Work Log: Remarks Arkesia stands strong today, giving rise to countless pieces of knowledge. Newly found knowledge is soon put into words, compiled into books, and then delivered to Wisdom Isle. Humans, Sylvains, Cykins, Fairies, Elementals... Writers of all races record their thoughts, arguments, and imaginations, producing books both thick and thin. As the librarian of Wisdom Isle, I keep thorough records of these writings and store them safely for future generations. There are times, however, when I find books written by unknown authors placed in a box of books that I already finished sorting. Perhaps this is how secrets that are normally kept from prying eyes preserve themselves. - Librarian Minerva, on a day when the waves sound so relaxing - Full-time Assistant Librarian (Points: 40) Minerva's Work Log: Remarks Talking books. As living creatures, they are as mysterious as the infinite amount of knowledge they hold within their pages. No one knows how they evolved from mere wood pulp and ink to sentient lifeforms with the ability to speak and an unslakable thirst for knowledge. However, one should note, that their intellectual horizons are confined by their subject matter. Their knowledge amounts only to the information that they have written in them, and nothing more. Their views on the world are extremely narrow, and this myopia compels them to debate each other all the time. And interestingly enough, this endless debate serves to expand the total amount of knowledge they each possess in their own fields. In other words, it is their central imperfection that spurs their desire to improve themselves. I am honored to look after them as the librarian here, but their fierce debates and loud shouting matches are a real problem, and it's given me a constant headache. - Librarian Minerva, on a day when the Book of Secrets babbled on for hours about things I could not care less about! - Honorary Librarian (Points: 70) Minerva's Work Log: Remarks The Book of Research told me about the Tabula Rasa. It was supposedly a library of forbidden books that held knowledge which, if misused, could bring Chaos to the world. I don't know why the book sounded so offended as it spoke, but it seems the Tabula Rasa has something to do with the Book of Abyss, the book that Player came to ask about some time ago. All I can assume is that the Tabula Rasa is closely related to the books of unknown authorship that I find in the library from time to time. Looking back at the recent series of events, I can't help but think that there may be a wealth of knowledge out there that has been kept out of our reach, both naturally and intentionally. - Librarian Minerva, gazing at the curious shadow in the corner of the library - Reputation 2 Level Reward Reputation 3 Level Reward |
