One of our ships recently anchored off the island where the ruins of the indigenous settlement of Kerakol are located. It was believed that all of its inhabitants died, but it turned out - this is not so. An aboriginal named Mauri still lives on the island, and he is ready to generously reward anyone who helps him in catching goldclaws.

Traders noted the peaceful disposition of the inhabitants of Kerakol. But there were also those who talked about the travelers who were killed and sacrificed to the gods. Maybe they were just rumors.

Great storm
In the fate of Kerakol and its inhabitants, everything changed in one day, when a great storm hit the island. Almost all buildings were destroyed and most of the residents died. The rest were finished off by the earthquake that followed soon after, as well as dysentery and other diseases. Only Maury survived.
