Waning Moonkeep Sylvains researched powerful and destructive magick, and the research proved to be a success. Countless Sylvains underwent mental contamination while gaining powerful strength, however, resulting in side-effects such as eccentric physical polymorphs. Some mages from the Waning Moonkeep closely observed the crisis and finally discovered a unique means of casting spells, but the research had to be stopped due to its danger and cruelty. The Old Moon Grimoire, in which this research had been recorded, was locked away in the deepest corners of the Waning Moonkeep. However, a few mages made copies, and they are being secretly traded.
